Etwall Well Dressing Festival

Etwall Well Dressing Festival  – A village tradition with something for all ages to enjoy.

The art of decorating springs and wells or places where wells used to stand with pictures  made from natural growing things.

Family friendly Entertainment and activities including nine well dressings, have a go at well dressing, themed floral decoration of village churches*, craft fair and other stalls, an exhibition by local artists, large classic vehicles display, various hot and cold street/homemade food*, plus other refreshments. (*only available on Monday 19th), traditional dancing, a rock choir plus other live music, birds of prey, the duck trail, kids entertainment and fairground rides.

Come and Watch Well Dressing in the Making

Anyone interested in watching one of this year’s well dressings under construction can do so between Monday 12th May and Friday 16th May (the week before the Festival) by phoning 07989 127013 or emailing aly.horton@talktalk.net for an appointment.

Also, those keen to try their hand at well dressing will be able to give it a go under expert supervision during Well Dressing weekend.
