Living history reenactment event
Moira Furnace have a brilliant group of re-enactors coming to stage a weekend event all about the American War of Independence, which our very own Sir Francis Rawdon Hastings, who commissioned the building of the furnace, was part of!
The weekend will consist of demonstrations, patrols, and even a skirmish, as well as the chance to learn about life in both the British and American armies.
