Help Care for an Award-Winning Green Space!

Church Gresley Cemetery, proudly recognised with a Green Flag Award, is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help care for this peaceful and valued community space.

This is a fantastic opportunity to spend time outdoors, meet new people, improve your wellbeing, and make a positive difference in the local community. Whether you have a keen interest in nature, conservation, gardening, local history, or simply want to give something back, we would love to hear from you.

No Experience Necessary

You do not need any previous experience to get involved. Full guidance and support will be provided, and volunteers can contribute at a pace that suits them.

Volunteer Activities May Include:

• Assisting with planting and habitat improvement projects
• Helping maintain and enhance wildlife areas
• Light gardening and seasonal maintenance tasks
• Litter picking and keeping the cemetery looking its best
• Supporting community events and volunteer days
