A beautifully maintained park with activity areas, walking trails, outdoor gym equipment and a children's play area
Maurice Lea Memorial Park was created in 1930 and presented to the District by a local entrepreneur, Herbert Lea, in remembrance of his son Maurice who was killed in France during the First World War.
In addition to great facilities, this Green Flag park is the location for a number of free events throughout the year, such as the Festival of Leisure and Music in the Park.
