Overseal is full of history from the reign of Henry III, and there stands a lovely church with an oak tree that is said to have hidden Charles II in his escape from the Roundheads. It also boasts some great pubs, eating places and shops, with miles of walking straight from the doorstep. You will be spoilt for choice here, no matter when you choose to visit!
