A beautiful park located just a few minutes walk from Swadlincote town centre
A green oasis dating from the 1920s, Eureka Park is named after a coal seam which runs beneath it.
Today the rolling green parkland is a beautiful place to spend time listening to the birds and water flowing along the stream. And don’t miss the stunning cherry blossom which covers the trees in Spring.
Local events are often staged on the park being, as it is, located so close to the town centre.
Facilities include:
Children’s play area
Picnic tables
Crazy golf course
Crown bowling green
Orienteering trail and heritage walk
Netball and tennis courts
Football pitches
Toilets
There is a park attendant present throughout the year.
