Repton Easy Summer Walks
These two shorter routes are easy to follow and perfect for the Summer Holidays.
Walk One
This route starts at Repton Village Hall where you can sometimes grab refreshments at their community cafe (make sure to check their Facebook for details on opening hours).
The walk is approximately 3 miles (4.8km) and well trodden.
Head around the village, before continuing across three fields and into Milton. Look out for wildlife such as swallows that are common at this time of year. From Milton, the route suggests walking along the footpath back into Repton.
This walk does contain at least one stile.
Walk Two – Brook Route
This walk is 2.5 Miles (4km) and is slightly overgrown.
A babbling brook walk that loops you from Repton towards the Memorial Arboretum and Ticknall, providing great views of Repton and the surrounding area. This scenic route is an excellent opportunity to look out for Marsh Marigolds between the spring and summer months.
This walk contains stiles and uneven surfaces as it crosses farmland.
This walk was created by Jenny Thompson published by The Village News.
