Festive Entertainment

Celebrate the start of Christmas in Swadlincote with the festive Christmas Lights Switch-On and an evening full of entertainment on the Delph. Enjoy live music from the Rolls Royce Brass Band, Idle Hive and upbeat festive rock from Backsteat Driver.

Around the town, roaming performers will light up the night with fun and festive acts including illuminated Christmas presents, glowing angels and roaming baubles bringing sparkle and joy.

The fairground will return taking over the Bus Station car park and Midland Road car park.

The lights are scheduled to be turned on at 6:30pm.

Please note that the Bus Station and Midland Road carparks will be closed from 6.00pm Wednesday 25 November to 12noon on Sunday 29 November.

Midland Road, Belmont Street, West Street and Market Street will also be subject to closures
