The Story of Elvaston - Tour at Elvaston Castle

This special guided experience offers a rare opportunity to explore key areas of the estate which are not usually open to visitors.
The tour will take you behind the scenes of the historic estate, including the Gothic Kitchen, outside The 8th Earl’s Workshop in the Stables, the Sunken Garden and William Barron’s Walled Garden.
Along the way, the guides will share some of the fascinating stories that have shaped Elvaston over the centuries. Revealing the people, innovation and heritage that sit behind the estate’s remarkable history.
The tour will last 90 minutes, but please allow two hours.
Tour times: 10.00am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm
