Celebrating our 20th Anniversary of the Road, Rail & Ale event, this year promises to be bigger than before! This family event promises to be one of our most spectacular events in the calendar. Statfold will be joined by a whole host of things Road, Rail and Ale. From vintage trucks, tractors, and cars to steam traction engines, a whole host of visiting exhibitors will be joining us for this steam-tastic weekend!

Train Rides on our 2ft Narrow Gauge
Enjoy unlimited rides around our award-winning railway taking in stunning Staffordshire countryside views.
Train Rides on the Mease Valley Light Railway
Take a ride on our Mease Valley Light Railway. This miniature railway is the newest 12 1/4 gauge in existence.
Roundhouse Museum
View our world-renowned locomotive collection inside the museum and learn about the history of these magnificent engines
Toby’s Barn Soft Play
Little ones can let off steam and enjoy Toby’s Soft Play. The soft play area offers an extensive multi-level play area full of vibrantly coloured Railway themed-challenges and obstacles throughout. Part maze, part assault course and all fun! The three-tier Soft Play also boasts a smaller Toddler-friendly area.
Session Times: 10:30-11:15, 11:30-12:15, 12:30-13:15, 13:30-14:15, 14:30-15:15
Space is limited, so be sure to book a timed session to guarantee your space, simply select your Road Rail & Ale tickets, select your date and a number of pop-up purchase suggestions will appear. It will prompt you to book your soft play, just scroll through the options using the blue continue button.
Fun Activities
From outdoor play parks to vintage fair ride, there’s plenty of fun for the little ones to explore.
Toby’s Barn Clip N Climb (additional activity cost – £5.00 per person)
For the slightly older guests (4 years+), reach new heights whilst climbing. There are 5 themed walls all towering 7.5 metres so both children and adults can reach exciting heights varying in difficulty.
Session Times: 10:45-11:15, 11:45-12:15, 12:45-13:15, 13:45-14:15,14:45-15:15

Road Rail and Ale Staycation
Make a weekend of it and book a Staycation!
Staycation ticket includes a camping pitch for three nights for one camping unit PLUS includes weekend admission for up to four people. Additional ticket prices apply for extra occupants.
